I hope I live long enough to read decades out examinations of US Civil Religion. I honestly think the fact that Americans worship the institutions of government in a religious way is one of the most important factors of the last century and it’s part of why this entire evil country I live in should be nuked to oblivion
Do you have any links for where I can learn more about the US doing this? I know ofc they do it with foreign terrorist organisations all the time to fight russia etc., but do they do this domestically, or in other countries that they’re not directly opposed to?
