To be honest it is not that much. In previous years we had demonstrations of about 200 000 people quite regularly against previous government. Plus one of the key points of the demonstrators is “to stop diluting Czech blood with Ukraine migrants”.

Yep, that is not really uncommon in Czech, the demonstration itself was mainly called “Czech first”.
This website is not innocent of big crowd fetishizing. Say it w me, just because people are angry at the consequences of capitalism does not mean they will see it as the cause of their social and economic problems
KSCM says they support the protest, so at least it isn’t, you know, extremely fucked. Though the KSCM isnt the best these days

I went to Prague in 2016 and there was some kind of rally in the late fall with what looked like Knights Templars on top of this giant plywood palisade looking thing. I never figured out the deal with that was, tv show? Demonstration? Just people getting together??
