Are you new on :reddit-logo: ? They used to do the same any time a brown person killed someone in Europe. Worldnews/news were completely unusable for all of 2015-2017 and that was even after their big “censorship” scandals, where people just started creating “uncensored” versions of the same subs, that ended up being actual stormfront ops.

r/worldnews is probably the most blatantly astroturfed, pro NATO subreddit around at the moment which is saying something given that I’ve seen pro NATO propaganda on hobby subreddits.
If you scroll through it (which I don’t necessarily recommend because it’s a barrage of psychic damage) you can literally get a streak of 50 articles about Russia, China and Iran before ever getting to another topic, it’s wild.
