What a weird form of agiprop. The Chinese characters are traditional, but the sentences are written left to right instead of right to left. Taiwan didn’t switch to left to right until the 80s and even then, the older right to left is still occasionally used in certain contexts.
I guess the CIA cartoonist assigned to this didn’t consider that Chinese characters aren’t traditionally written left to right.
