That’s my #1 guess. There aren’t many millennials who turned out for Obama but are now nutjob right-wingers. There are tons of millennials who turned out for Obama and are now disillusioned with electoral politics.
Yeah me or my wife didn’t vote. I know quite a few other millennials my age that didn’t vote. None of that proves anything.
Maybe the poorest generation out there, the likelyhood is zoomers pass us in wealth, is becoming conservative cuz they are a little less poor? Or they have completely disengaged?
Another thing to keep in mind is that the sports crowd has most definitely joined the politics game. Most of these guys 6 years ago couldn’t be bothered. So I think what you’re seeing is a large swath of disillusioned leftist with an okay sized swath of righty millennial sports fans that have engaged
