i stopped watching transformers 3 dark of the moon about 40 minutes into the movie so its probably that
Yes the later transformers feel surreal in how bad they are. Like your brain can’t even process it.
It weird going from a dumb 13 year old boy who liked Transformers 1 because of cool car, cool booba, cool explosions to an adult that watched that monstrosity. The first one is cringeworthy and bad in retrospect, but nothing even approaching the later ones. The awfulness increases exponentially, it gets more and more racist and weird and surreal. The humor is perplexing and the plot is incoherent and pacing gets weird and the CGI gets lazy. In retrospect it’s also pro-Iraq war imperialist propaganda and an American military jack-off session
i saw the first one of those and knew better than to watch any more of them. Were you under duress or drunk or… how did you even start watching that crap?
i heard it was significantly better than transformers 2 which i also hated AND saw in theaters and this time i pirated transformers 3 and…the free movie was worse than the one my parents paid for lol
Okay everyone, shut the fuck up:
T h e H a p p e n i n g
Holy fuck if you want to absolutely hate looking at Zooey Deschanel’s face, watch The Happening. They keep zooming in and it’s so weird! It’s so fucking weird!
And you’ve heard the plot is stupid and bad, and one of the big stupid things is it’s a movie about the wind directed by someone who apparently has never been outside ever - like the wind comes toward them step by step blowing 90 degrees away from them and you see the blowing grass getting closer. And they run away from it…
But like
There is a very short series of shots where Marky Mark reacts to something a train conductor says, and I swear to God they shot 3 takes of Mark ad-libbing his reaction, and then just put all 3 takes in sequence next to each other. Just one after the other. Like these were 3 complete reactions, starting with hearing it and then reacting and then falling quiet.
It was something like " What do you mean!!.. … … …What?? No!!.. … … … Gasp! No! That’s terrible!"
I felt like I was having a stroke, and I’m not even sure if I can trust my own brain. But I remember it.
kickassia
No, it is the worse sequel to that movie. I only know because my parents really liked “Meet the Parents” for some unknown reason.
