I saw really surprised when I came to this site and noticed there wasn’t a downvote option, but it seems like removing anything related to scores and points is probably a good thing?
I think it’s a nice feeling to see your post or comment do well and get a lot of upbears, but honestly each comment having a total score detracts from actual discussion. I find my eyes gravitating towards which comments have the most upbears most times, even when I’m trying to read through an entire comment chain.
Your post was fine. I enjoyed the discussion. I wouldn’t take the memeing personally as an intent to mock you; most of us here are just bored and will meme anything that appears to be the current topic of the hour. :meow-hug:
