I keep recognizing people I matched with but never talked to in public, awkward as hell
I get a dating app, I use it for a few months, I have no results and give up, loneliness gets me, I try another app. And so on and so on.

online is a cancer, and any technological innovation under inequality is a cancer, because the nature of inequality means that the elites will always gain more from it than the proles
if you live in a small town or rural area, or people think your looks are below average, or both, dating apps are just not worth the effort and the mental torture they cause.
