A lot of them did quit, but that was mostly after he laid off half the company.
I thought, like, the first day 4000 people walked off the job and everyone was laughing about how Twitter was going to crash and burn without them to run the place. Plus, they were going to be highly in-demand in the rest of Silicon Valley and Musk just starved his company of the best talent.
Later came the layoffs where he fired people he said he’d keep on because they actually contributed to the code base, LOL.
