Is hawaii gonna surive climate change? I know somw good parts of NY are in line to get sunk.
Cali is gonna balkinize. The Inland empire will become an actual empire. They had the head of thr KKK and domestic meth production. Silicon valley will hire all of LA as private security and the north will get pushed sourth by the pac nothwest coalitions
Due to rising sea levels? Yeah Hawaii is literally huge mountains, though some buildings might need to be reconstructed inland. But if the beaches and/or the climate suffer, their tourist industry collapsing would leave them in a situation for sure. Politically, it’d be pretty easy for them to steer clear of a collapsing US due to their isolation, although they have a major military presence.
Canada, New Mexico, maybe California, maybe Mexico Cit or Guadalajara. Could also go carribean with Puerto Rico or T&T.
Probably the Midwest considering that we have oceans of fresh water and still some arable land, which is gonna be kinda important during our ecological crisis
It won’t balkanize. Bougie leaders are totally insulated from any and all ill effects of reactionary politics. It doesn’t matter how much you suffer; they never will. They only benefit from the status quo, so they will keep it that way. Forever.
It is untenable. And the bourgeoise will side with the reactionaries in quashing social unrest harder than ever before, with the full tacit consent of any and all entities, including the media. They will do this in the interest of maintaining the status quo.
