Nebraska is pretty lit tbh, even tho it’s a really conservative state. We have a huge aquifer under basically the entire state, we have access to the Missouri River, lots of arable land, and the only real natural disasters we experience are (potential) famines and tornadoes, which very rarely hit populated areas. Douglas and Lancaster county (Northern Omaha and Lincoln respectively) are kinda 50/50 liberal conservative split. Both of those counties had Clinton in the lead for the popular vote, only real reason trump win in the state is cuz of the smaller more conservative counties in the state. Omaha had some pretty wild protests when all the other George Floyd protests started. Also cheap housing too lol
