I’m interested in it. Hopefully it’s not terrible. Not read or seen it yet. I liked She-ra quite a bit for what it was. Doesn’t seem like the author is involved with the animation production from a glance at wiki though.
I loved it. Made me cry because I’m a big softy. Felt that it was just as valid a metaphor for neurodivergence as trans identity. Very stylish animation, the characters were very distinct and all of the emotional moments felt very real.

Thought it was suspicious when the director said something about him showing everyone his real worth or something like that before the knighting ceremony and immediately called it after the assassination
But I agree, very good kid’s movie (other than the joke about Todd having a small dick lmao).

If you haven’t seen it, you’ll probably dig The Sea Beast. It’s in the same vein. Less dark, more kid friendly.
I hear the movie doesn’t hold up to the book. There are significant plot and character changes. I just watched the movie and it’s slightly subversive.
