The conflation of National “Socialism” in Germany with Marxism Leninism (even though Hitler spent about 25 years 1920-1945 ranting openly about how he was going to exterminate all the bolshevik untermenschen) is the pride and joy of the American bourgeoisie. They are gingerly covering with cat litter the old dry turd of their collaboration with Nazi germany prior to (and sometimes after) the Trading With The Enemy Act.
