12, this started with the 08 crash and subsequent mismanagement. like you can go back even further but that was the last period when the people in charge were making consequential choices that led us to this moment. it’s been a pebble rolling downslope into an avalanche since then.
Yea pretty much, 1T a day from what I’ve heard, it was an actual mindfuck trying to figure out why inflation wasn’t hitting the US after that, but I guess people around the globe consider the dollar as a safe currency. Doubt this will be the case after that though.
Just so you know also, the great depression had a 30% decline in GDP in the US. And the corona crisis is not even over yet for the USA. Make of it what you want.
