I never finished Bastion (although I got pretty close) and barely remember anything about it, but this song has always stuck with me–hauntingly beautiful. Also satisfying to accompany on guitar

I love that Bastion’s OST was unafraid to be in front of the game. So many games in the 2000-2010s wanted OSTs to kind fade into the background or the generic “epic” or “cinematic” feeling. Bastion really wanted to have some flavor and texture. I respect that shit so much.

Transistor is easily my favorite out of their catalog, was also the first SG game I played. I frequently stopped what I was doing to admire the ambience.
