For real. What is up with Western media refering to a fusion reactor as an “artificial sun” when the Chinese do it?
Doc Ock also called his reactor an artificial sun so I guess it’s to invoke a negative emotion although it just makes it sound even cooler.
It sounds cool as hell, which I don’t think was the intention Western media had.
I’m upset that reality isn’t as funny as the headline. Mihoyo apparently donated money to a university that way doing tokamak research. They don’t own and operate it.

Capitalism would have a lot more clout if billionaires and companies used their money to fund solutions to humanity’s problems, instead of using their money to create problems for humanity and then offering solutions for profit.
