Anti-voters: as long as I did my best by doing absolutely nothing at all :)

This comes from the incorrect assumption that the only kind of politics that exist are voting. Anti-voting leftists are usually involved in some sort of leftist organization which does much more material good than voting ever could. Learn about direct action.

Yeah, I’m aware. My intention was to mock all the anti-voting sentiments I see floating around the internet that neglect to encourage direct action. I probably could have indicated that more clearly

I just sent this to my lib friends who are going through the “what country can I get citizenship in before 2025?” excercise. Time is a circle.

The NYT transcript makes it even funnier:

I’ll feel as long as I gave it my all and I did the goodest job as I know I can do, that’s what this is about.

Isn’t there like an actual chance he, personally, has some bad shit happening to him if Trump wins?

Yes,

He’s acting like a delusional Shakespearen villain and will meet their common fate if he doesn’t get his head out of his ass.

I stand before you, not just as an incumbent candidate, but as the chosen one, who has ascended to the highest office despite the naysayers, the doubters, and those who think me unfit.
They speak of my mistakes, do they not? Laugh at my missteps, whisper of my cognitive decline in the corners of their grand halls, thinking themselves so clever, so wise. But what do they know of power? Of the art of governance? They see only the surface, the fleeting moments of forgetfulness, the slips of the tongue that they so eagerly label as signs of weakness.
Fools! They call it dementia, but I call it divine providence, a mask that hides the sharpest mind, the most cunning intellect this nation has ever seen.
And now, here I stand, at the pinnacle of power, a second term within my grasp. They underestimate me, dismiss me as a mere buffoon, a relic of a bygone era. But I will show them. I will show them all.
Let them question my worthiness. It matters not, for I hold the reins of power, and with them the fate of the West. Let the world tremble, for I am its leader, its ruler, and my reign has only just begun.

I just read that in a muffled voice, like if Joe Bidens head was between his ass cheeks.
