My opinion of China improved dramatically in the last couple of months, from [completely neutral/no opinion] to [China is pretty good] to [China can be a force for good].

I mean, what does China do to me? Sell me the same surveillance-lined tech that The West™ sells me, except for way cheaper? China didn’t force my country to get rid of its industry for pennies on the dollar. It didn’t force my country to quickly go full capitalism.
Talking to libs about Huawei is like talking to a really shitty customer service chat bot or getting stuck in a conversation loop in a buggy Bethesda game.
Sooner or later they loop back to “I’d rather the US spy on me than China” and never have an explanation for why any non-American should beleive that when the US uses said data to kidnap and torture people.

I’ve almost never seen POC IRL randomly start talking smack about China, especially violently. Seen a lot of mayos do it tho. If they do they’re just going along with the crowd (most people believe the uyghur shit after all)
