You ought to be congratulated. Onya Botto. 👍
Is this too casual/bright/cold for a dinner/drinks event in a rooftop restaurant on a Friday night?
I can’t speak for fashion it’s a great dress but we’re still in winter I’d bring a jacket / jumper too it’s gonna be 10c (I don’t anyone on the DT to freeze)
What kind of event? What dress code?
- If it’s “casual”, that’s fine
- If it’s “smart casual”, it’s borderline, but may be OK depending on the crowd
- If it’s “semi formal” or “cocktail”, it’s not appropriate
- On the other hand, if it’s a jazz restaurant, that’s absolutely perfect
Definitely not too bright.

bugger
Watching a British actor, director, or writers filmography inevitably means watching some pretty low budget period pieces. Tonight’s offering as my Keeley Hawes education comes to an end is Under The Greenwood Tree (an adaptation of Thomas Hardys’ novel of the same name), a production that had a dream and a penny they found on the ground to pay for it all.
Second-last Report Type That I Really Really Really Hate Doing out of the way, after dragging my soul through it for the whole day. I have to update the very last one for a disaster project next week - one of the worst I’ve ever worked on - and then hopefully that’s it forever.
I’m not quitting my job per se, but it does feel like serving out your notice at some places. Continuing to go through the motions feels particularly painful when freedom is around the corner.
