When it looked like Trump was winning I saw tons of comments in r/politics megathread about how BLM lost us the election. They can’t fucking wait to purge the left and punish us for their losses in congress.
I’ve been saying this for over a month now. Over 70 million people voted for Trump too which is a sign that a lot of people are against BLM and the protests in general.
There is going to a bipartisanship effort to take down the protest movement.
It’ll pass with both parties supporting it and then we’ll probably see something like threats of life imprisonment and extreme charges to protesters.

I think you’ve got the direction of causation backwards - people didn’t go out to protest because Instagram and reddit used some blm graphics
