The bulk of propaganda is what is left out of public discourse…most people just don’t think about it, and one of the jobs of propaganda is to make apathy the easiest social position to take on politics.

There’s a similar statistic they cite which makes almost the same point:
Research conducted by Reprieve in 2014 “found that in attempts to kill 41 individuals, the US killed as many as 1,147 other people and that on average the high value targets died three times”
