Disappointing, but if you are a ruling class capitalist that doesn’t care if people live or die (and maybe you want people to die, since it’s mostly old people anyway), this is the right call. I know people that would have quit their shit minimum wage covid pit job and just figured it out in March. If you give people relief/aid, who is gonna deliver your take out meal for $4/hr?
I can’t even get my head around this. There’s been less total relief money than I’ve collected per month since March.
