The Lincoln Project raised $4.8 million between November 24th and December 16th hyping the Georgia Senate runoff elections.

Since then, it has spent $1.1 million on independent expenditures in those races and paid Steve Schmidt $1.5 million.

I told my dad this and he said “Good for him, he deserves it for helping Biden so much” :/

My dad was talking about donating money to them. He’s actually pretty good politically (for a 70-year-old, middle-class white guy, anyway), but he has Trump Brain something fierce. Just the idea of something pissing Trump off gives him a giant boner, so he just ate those Lincoln Project ads up. Fortunately, he came around on them when I asked him what he thought they were going to do with their excess money the second the presidential election is over.

I swear to fucking god the only thing necessary to run a campaign like this is a good video editor. The Lincoln Project people have absolutely nothing in terms of stated policy agenda beyond “Trump is bad,” but hot damn if those ads didn’t look great, so these people must be taken seriously.
