My poor nephews do the whole typing with their pointer fingers while looking at the board. Need to teach them so can anyone recommend any browser based typing games for them or websites y’all recommend. Preferably free if possible. Older nephew needs to learn fast in order to pass high school. Would love any suggestions.

Typing of the Dead was a House of the Dead game where you shot zombies by typing real fast. idk if you could still get it anywhere.

I believe they also made a typing version of one of the more recent entries, which should also be on Steam

Hell yeah, I remember we had a CD of that in my house when I was a kid. I remember it being fun and goofy but I’m nostalgic, not sure how well it’d appeal.

The Typing of the Dead

Typing of the dead is awesome, like its worth playing even if you don’t need to learn to type. It does have strippers, zombies, profanity and gore though so not sure about how age appropriate it is. The first one is $10 on steam.

We’re trying to teach highschoolers here. Strippers, zombies, profanity, and gore are all incentives.

That’s what we used in my middle school, happy to see it recommended.

I have no recollection other than “Mario typing game” but c’mon, it’s Mario

I don’t know any that are specifically about e.g. showing which fingers you’re supposed to use for which keys, but as far as games go, I find zty.pe somewhat addictive.

To be honest, the way I personally learned which fingers to use was with this program from a goofy website that screams early 2000s.
