“Turn everything you enjoy into an attempt to make profit” and all this hustle is such an insidious way to keep people busy while sucking all joy out of the little time we are allowed to be free from work.
Like for real…the whole point of a hobby is that your livelihood doesn’t depend on it. No matter what it is: once you start trying to make a living or supplemental income off of it your entire approach to it has to change at some point because you’re beholden to the market and/or your patrons.
Honestly it would be more responsible of them to just tell people to become meth dealers at this point
