Dragonflies are so far beyond other insects it’s not even close like come on. They look like freaking alien space ships, they don’t bite you, they’re these amazing pearlescent colors, it doesn’t get better than that.

And they reduce mosquito populations, which, of course they’re necessary for the environment but any animal that eats them or their larvae is a friend in my book
