Make sure your printer is equipped with thermal runaway protection, especially if you plan to walk away from it for extended periods of time. This is the single most important thing anyone new to printing should familiarize themselves with, and it’s something I still manually check for in any new printer. Happy printing!
In a related but fairly different type of technology, the crazy bastards at RCA burned a ton of money making vinyl (at first, then PVC) video discs. Sort of like laserdiscs, but using a physical stylus rather than light.
Hasan was watching a Fox and Friends segment on this, and after casually googling every interviewed “outraged parent” he figured out that they were each, surprise surprise, connected in one way or another to some Republican organization/grift.
What’s especially insidious is that these grifters post their “viral” school board meetings to their garbage facebook groups, and dox parents and students that speak against their anti-CRT hysteria.
I don’t have any specific ideas, but LoRa radio modules might be cool to tinker with. Communicators/gateways built with them could be useful in situations where you can’t or don’t want to send traffic over third-party networks. If you implemented some decent encryption on top of it, it’d hypothetically be untraceable. And not that security-through-obscurity should ever be relied upon, but I don’t know if anyone would even think to monitor those frequencies.

Probably some portion of #3, too. I recall reading that cops getting shot from friendly fire or their own accidental discharges get categorized under a generic “gunfire” statistic to inflate the false impression that they’re constantly getting shot by criminals.
Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a similar case for several of these other points, lol.

This channel seems like a good starting point for miniatures painting.
Edit: Oh yeah, one more important thing I want to to stress: always be safe when handling resin! Most beginner vids will cover this, but resin can cause serious chemical burns if it gets on your skin and isn’t washed off ASAP. Also keep your workspace well ventilated.
