I don’t really have experience with this kind of stuff but you could see if there is a possibility to substitute your millirary service for volunteer work if I recall correctly finland and switzerland have options like that if not I would advice starting your service after you have a college degree it might be difficult to start collega again if in the middle you had to skip a year because of service
