Salamander
This feels like one of those chain messages that we would get on Facebook asking us to do something like posting “I don’t give permission to Facebook to use my data”. Except that this time it is actually true!
I have added “_nomap” to my SSID and now I have to read the manual for the wifi extender, which by default appends _EXT to the SSID 🙄
I would much rather see a “_yesmap” opt-in policy!
Of 7 nonwhite countries who voted against, basically all are western puppets or colonies (except Mali? idk)
Good catch!
Mali voted in favor. The representative accidentally pressed the wrong button 😅 She corrected the record immediately after: https://media.un.org/en/asset/k1j/k1jb1nxz0o?kalturaStartTime=6641
From reading the articles I would conclude the following:
- RFA, a US-funded asian ‘news broadcaster’, very likely has created this piece of propaganda as an attempt to use the popularity of the Squid Games to disseminate mis-information about North Korea
and
- North Korea did pass a law that specifies death as a possible penalty for distributing South Korean content
So… everyone sucks.
That NKnews site is also American. I thought that something like this would be easy to verify, so I have tried to find a bit more information, and according to this site:
https://www.38north.org/2021/11/north-korea-intensifies-war-against-foreign-influence/
While the text of the law was not made public outside of the North, anecdotal reports since indicate that this has prompted a widespread crackdown on foreign content and influence in the country.
So, perhaps it is not as simple.

Always heat the oil with the pan.
Heating pans dry damages the pans (especially non-stick ones). Also, there are no warning signs that the pan is hot when you set something else on it or bump into it.
Adding cold ingredients to hot pans also damages the pan, and can scald the ingredients. Even oil. If you guessed too hot, you can damage several things at once, including the meal.
Oil doesn’t significantly degrade through normal heating, and certainly not in a single heat cycle getting up to saute temperatures. If the oil starts smoking (with nothing else in it) yes it’s started to degrade but you’re also a bit too warm.
Tip: Add some minced garlic or scallions to the oil as it heats. Gives you a nice base for sauteing, and lets you know the oil is up to temperature as they start to cook.
Thank you for the great work that you are doing!
This update has a lot of very neat features that I’m excited to play with!

Well, good thing that you prepared well in advance and have already built a nice alternative.
