Whatever you think about AI generated images, and whether they’re “real” CSAM or not: if nothing is done, there’s going to be a massive backlash against image generators, and clueless politicians will ban them.

Yeah, after getting the profile on the blade correct, you finish it by polishing the edge. It really, really makes a huge difference. I could never use a steel correctly though, I always messed up.

Been using my endgame Keychron Q10 Alice keyboard for a while now. Glorious Panda switches and MT3 Dusk keycaps round out what feels like perfection to me lol.

Keychron has been doing incredibly well lately with their QMK based keyboards.

Yeah git is complex. It performs a huge array of tasks, the problem domain is very complicated. Do people complain Typescript or Rust is too complex? Probably some do but most accept that learning a programming language takes time and dedication.

The hacker news thread on that article is depressing. So many people saying “waaahh git is hard! I had to look up how to do something!” No shit? You had to learn something you previously didn’t know?!?

Like, multiple devs I’ve known had trouble understanding that things in git are often just pointers. Symbolic links. Yet it’s treated like an alien ship just crashed into their lap!
