I was going to say “Theoretically each conviction of contempt of court (which is a bullshit charge btw) can get you up to 3 months in prison, but Donziger has been under house arrest for 2 years and 2 months, so even if he was punished to the maximum extent of all 6 counts he should have been out with time served by now”,
looking it up, civil contempt of court in NYS can get you up to 6 months, but each sentence is served concurrently I guess. I still don’t know how the judge can just ignore time served.
“Land” shouldn’t belong to anyone. I’m very skeptical of people saying any piece of land belongs to any specific ethnic group, that just sounds like an ethnostate to me.
