I mean fibre’s pretty solid no matter who you go through. I’m still on 2degrees after about 10 years. I don’t really need to interact with them in anyway outside of the signing up process.

Honestly we couldn’t get into a good GP practice when we moved about 5 years ago, they were pretty much all not taking new enrolments. In fact the one that we did want to enrol at is still not taking new patients.

Some of them are now really strict and enforce time limits for appointments, not allowed to bring up more than one issue unless you make a double appointment. We had an amazing GP when my first daughter was born, always took time to answer any questions and never rushed us and gave lots of recommendations to look at.

Since moving away we haven’t had great experiences through a few different practices.

It’s not very large and kind of oddly shaped, but the previous owner did nothing with it so it was all grass when we moved in. Each year I turn a bit more of it into planting space. I’m at the point I’m thinking of just wood chipping the rest of the lawn next autumn so I can plant anywhere from then on. Also bonus is I won’t have to mow it anymore.

Got a load of compost being dropped off this morning, prepping myself to move it as fast as I can so as to not block our driveway. Feels good to be getting the garden and raised beds ready for Spring.

Yeah it’s weird how they keep going on about our great simple GST system, when multiple large countries have implemented it without too many issues.

Another sentiment I’ve seen is “Wealthy people buy fruits and veg too!!!” So what? Why can’t we just help everyone? Everyone should be eating more fruits and vegetables. If it leads to healthier varied diets for everyone, it’s a net benefit as a whole to us.

Does lemmy not have a block user function where you won’t see their comments? I guess that doesn’t help when you want to wholesale block users from an instance.

I personally haven’t seen anything worth defederating over so far. In any case I usually just scroll past or don’t interact with comments that are inflammatory. However as you’re the admin it’s your call. My only reservation is that we don’t have many contributors as it is.
