This is so cool! I will definitely get one, when they are available 😊 (May be with the Coolermaster Case once I used it „enough“ in my laptop)
Ford says the Level 2 “hands-off, eyes-on” advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) is now also the most widely available system of its kind in Europe.
I don’t know the capabilities of this system, but most systems can already do this. It is essentially adaptive cruise control and lane assist, but the driver still needs to pay attention. The problem ist that many people will slack off and not pay attention. I like the traffic jam assist of Mercedes much more. It is Level 3 and the driver does not need to pay attention under 60 kph.
Generally I don‘t like when people say „I am a fan of this person“ which for me always implies the whole person and everything they stand for and also say in the future. Why not be more specific? I like Jordan Peterson‘s shirt is totally reasonable if he wears a nice shirt. Same might go for some of his arguments at some point in time (I don‘t know much of the guy). But why give unconditional approval?
I am actually kinda thinking about upgrading to AMD and then using the Intel mainboard as a server :D We will see
Currently only Ubuntu and Fedora are officially supported, but many others work as well: https://frame.work/linux
I am using plain old Ubuntu on my Framework 11th Gen. Setup is without hiccups, however per default hibernation is not setup which can be a pain in the butt. I haven‘t tried the finger print sensor, but it should work as well.
Ubuntu is always a sane default and I am very happy with it.
Thanks for creating Lemmy! I like it a lot :) Do you have any ideas/plans on a privacy and user focused algorithmic view? If Lemmy wants to be big, I think we need something like this.
