I feel like these people know their limits very well and stop themselves before getting anywhere close to dying. Obviously, something could happen outside of their control and cause a fatal accident but the same could be said about someone going for a walk. I’ve certainly been in positions where I pushed up against my limits, thought to myself “I don’t want to die today”, and dialled it back down.

The hiring department wants to see how hard you can grovel and beg for an entry level position that pays a non-living wage when you divide your salary by actual hours worked.
