And yes, I realize that there is a substantial cohort of those who play games primarily to (1) gaze at graphics (2) get a consumer’s sense of satisfaction knowing that the graphics card is pushing billions of operations per second.

People today literally find old games unplayable. Their eyes cannot make out what the colors on the screen are supposed to be. Donkey Kong is as illegible as Thai script.

Remember that video of that attractive lady walking around the streets of New York City for a couple of hours with a camera following her (minding her own damn business) and it was just disgusting man after disgusting man trying to hit on her and making vulgar remarks? There were only one or two of them who tried to make a halfway competent pass at her and stopped after she didn’t respond.
