I don’t mind paying for public transport, but $4.50 or whatever it is 1 way is a rip. If my flat of four went out for a night, that’s $36 there and back, at that point just get a private uber.
It’s a public good, pay for it with public taxes. If everyone’s tax dollars are going into it, I’m sure it’d attract more usage. Less traffic, less pollution, what’s not to like?
I exclusively drink dog milk, it’s actually sweeter than dairy.
It’s a bit sad when you have to keep immediately taking the puppies away from the female dogs and they sniff around and search for them for months and months, howling and barking.
But it’s a whole lot cuter than cows when you kill the male dogs (because they don’t produce milk), it’s cute seeing them wag their little tails right before the bolt to the brain!
Plus dog milk is better for the environment! Not as good as plant milk, but the idea of consuming plants is “ick”.
Un-normalise the word normalise.
Tom Scott is insufferably uncharasmatic. Sure his content is excellent, but he’s stupidly unfunny, awkward to watch with other people on camera, and I imagine would be an absolute bore to talk to.
I tried to buy some shoes online, was told they were on back order (which is fine), then they asked for a tip. I wrote a complaint saying “you want a tip for a service you literally haven’t provided on an online store with zero staff interaction”. I ranted and raved about how, while the tip is optional, asking for it is like a multi-million dollar company rattling a can at me for spare change. They replied with “the tip is optional”. Dogs.
