Yeah this anecdotally checks out. We had lay offs at my company and like 80% of people affected were management of some type. They specifically didn’t cut people “that contribute” so kinda just admitting how bullshit many of these jobs are. Some junior level devs were affected too though and that was sad of course
i pretty much only wear either fringey tight black jean shorts or ripped tight grey jean shorts in the summer pants wise. I tried for many years to embrace chino shorts but i think they almost always look preppy. so im livin the jorts life now and LOVIN it
bobby hill is probably the best mainstream american animation character
i think the show is really good in general tho. obviously, there are some problematic episodes that have aged super poorly but it depicts america more accurately than a lot of other shows and does a great job satirizing it. it is like peak centrist political commentary though but that is sort of how mike judge shows work. having any unusual opinion or fighting for any big cause means you are either annoying, weird, or misguided. south park is a big one guilty of this too and much worse in that regard than koth imo but nevertheless, that is probably the strongest nonsatirical underlying ideological political commentary koth gives or arguably promotes. which is bad but it is still a very easy show to enjoy even with acknowledging these issues.
