I mean, it’s not unheard-of to have grown adults with walls full of plush toys of characters from comic book films. That’s kind of a different issue though, more along the lines of nostalgia for our childhoods which is also used very cynically.

I don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong with an adult liking plush toys (although in that case I do judge the lack of taste). Collecting is its own issue, but I think that should apply equally to collectors of plush toys and collectors of like coins and vases and shit
