You do realize that the real left in the US doesn’t spend all day on Twitter, right? These tweets are just disinformation to make people believe that the US left is Bernie. AOC and Breadtube. The US left is anarchist transwomen organizing mutual aid food drives, folks out doing political education for union organizing and ex marines who’ve been fucked over by the DoD teaching people how to shoot a rifle. Some of the people on this site really need to touch grass.

Thomas does have a point that the socialist (not Soc dem chauvinist) left in the US makes up maybe 5% of the population, and has basically no organized base to speak of. There might be something to this theory that the feeling of powerlessness and frustration you all feel is being vented to the few things you can actually effect (marginal, also powerless, leftist outlets and figures in another “left faction”)
I see much more vitriol in these sectarian type threads than I do in discussions about Liberals.
