This and other recent posts/struggle sessions here are just reminding me that even the best of the worst online left spaces are pretty dogshit and alienating/atomized and hopelessly discourse-brained and that we should all log off but also it’s impossible to really log off because this ugly fucking machinery is so deeply incorporated into every single aspect of our lives. Mad of the online left are more concerned with performative sanctimoniousness & showing off the rightness of their takes & purity of their souls than they are with genuine concern for humanity or other people. Or at least that’s what their public personas seem to indicate, internet figures are fundamentally strangers.

Think I need a chapobear break or ideally an internet break but that second one will never realistically happen so yeah
