I don’t know what the purpose of ranking is when all totalitarianism is wrong. Putin, NATO, Trump, Xi, nazis. They’re all harmful reactionaries

Who do you refer to as “you”?

I’m not associated with your writings and the way they simplify many nuanced things.

This is an interesting case since you believe some very stupid things but seem to be earnest and intellectually honest about those beliefs. I think it demonstrates quite well the thesis that ideology is more a matter of enculturation than how “intelligent” one is. Some of your current beliefs are below you and I hope you come to understand that as you continue your investigations.

My suggestion is to take a critical (but not always negative) view of extremely broad and vague pejorative terms, as well as your willingness to place people under them who you frankly know very little about.

Totalitarianism is a bit useless of a word when it has to include every state, no?

Statelessness is a good goal and non-tolitarian state is an acceptable intermediate form.

But also sure, whatever similar terminology can be used. Authoritarian, autocratic, repressive, reactionary, undemocratic, dictatorial…?

Looks like we have an enlightened centrist over here. I’m not sure you know what the word ”reactionary” means.

“Enlightened centrists” are always right wingers (and reactionaries) when you scratch the surface tho

Reactionarism is the bourgeoisie anti-communist response to the rise of communism. It is a reaction to progressive change to make society less progressive. Could you explain how a democratically elected and generally well supported leader of a communist party is reactionary?

Yes I know.

Depends on who is or when there will be a democratically elected and generally well supported leader of a communist party. Kerala’s current leader? Might definitely be a non-reactionary real deal. Haven’t checked.

Xi Jinping might actually be the most boring world leader around. If you read his writings it’s like a tutorial for an advanced simcity mod. If you think he’s remotely a fascist it’s because you’re wired into the US foreign policy disinformation network.
