I’m useless when people ask for recipes but can totally improvise if I know what’s available. It’s also fun.

I have some dried pasta, hot sauces, canola oil, half a bottle of scotch, expired onions and a can of pea soup.

Why are you putting dried pasta in the fridge?

To keep it cold

that scotch is a damn fine flavor. if you had scotch and a little butter, you could toss together a half decent sauce for that pasta. anyone who keeps a kitchen without whiskey and a bottle of red wine just hates flavor.

vegan stuff requires more and more specific ingredients. in this case savoury oil (avocado, sesame) and possibly mushrooms.

I thought of that but considering the list I figured the scotch would be wasted on food.
