I’ve come to really dislike breadtube. It started as something to cheer on just as an opposition to chud youtube and all the dweeby “skeptics” on there, but It’s become another “media consumption as politics” trap rife with libshit masquerading as leftism. Hbomberguy is basically the only one from there that I still watch (Shaun is also good but not as rewatchable because he does heavy shit, fair enough), and I really hope he actually makes more videos since he has people to help him plan and schedule his shit out now.
Yessss. Them, black red guard, Yugopnik, Tankie Talk, Viki 1999, Kathrin, Space babies, paul cockshott, finbol, bayarea415, socialist swann, and Paul Morrin/basically anyone hes had on his channel. There is a thriving new redtube (lol) i have only gotten aquiainted with in the past few months, after spending forever sifting through the breadtube shlock.
I mean, it’s a show where they spend 2 hours reading a Wikipedia article and making dumb jokes and when the article ends they are just “well, that’s that” and the episode just ends without them going to any real detail.
I really like subject matter and the hosts and their unique perspectives but lately their episodes have become increasingly phoned in and devoid of any real substance.
