Luv 2 have to wake up before dawn and drive for 45 minutes to somewhere I don’t want to go without getting paid for it seriously why aren’t we paid for every single second we have to give to work including the time we have to put in to getting to work

so dumb. I have no idea how efficient my bus connection will be, so my commute could be a half hour (if everything works perfect) or like an hour and 20 minutes. so basically I need to assume it will take the longer, and if i just get to work early, so be it. if i arrive early by chance of bus schedule, I’m just going to leave early too…
thankfully, i am just on a ‘35 hour a week’ schedule, with a basic 9-5 in mind, but has wiggle room since i don’t really have a boss in my center specifically. I honestly don’t even know why I need to go in every day (am gonna try to shoot to work from home a couple days a week, once i get on the good side of the people in my center).
today I worked from home and was able to start early, get a ton of work done before noon, when normally a chunk of the time would be wasted getting up, eating, and commuting…
tfw my part time job wanted me to work half days when going there and back took 3 hours and cost the equivalent of one hours wage, meaning that I earned 3 hours wage for 7 hours of my time
Bus gang but I see your point. The driver still has to get up to take us wage slaves to work when the Sun’s still sleeping.
