In an ideal society we wouldn’t have even had this pandemic in the first place. For that reason, I’m going to remain neutral.
I will point out that those most responsible for COVID are the billionaires that stole and sat on vaccine patents and the bosses that forced their employees to work. Those should be the people suffering from COVID.
You see, this is a good precedent. Vaccines aren’t that effective in reducing virus transmission (that’s up to the states, remember) but they are good at reducing hospitalization and severe illness, which companies shouldn’t have to pay PTO, sick leave, or increased insurance costs for.
