Depends on what you’re looking for. Are you looking for slashers to get drunk and laugh at, or psychological horror, or something in between? Any of John Carpenter’s good horror movies, so Halloween, The Fog, The Thing, Prince of Darkness, In the Mouth of Madness. Evil Dead 2 is always fun. They all strike a good balance between actual horror and being fun to talk during.
