Like, a phrase that captures a life lesson that you’ve learned. Something that condenses the experience down into a phrase that you can use as a reminder, or maybe something you’ve shared with other people to help them.

For me, I’ve learned that you never realize that you’re living in happier times until they’re behind you.

What are some of yours?

Just to be clear, I’m not a professional ‘quote maker’. I’m just an atheist teenager who greatly values his intelligence and scientific fact over any silly fiction book written 3,500 years ago. This being said, I am open to any and all criticism.

‘In this moment, I am euphoric. Not because of any phony god’s blessing. But because, I am enlightened by my intelligence.’

Ten years later that edgy teen is now a professional quote maker.

Patience.

Whether I’m facing my own anxiety, 10 hour work days, or just waiting for YouTube to load, I find myself thinking “patience.” and things are suddenly more bearable. Being more patient with myself, the people around me, and situations in general has helped me actually set my own pace in life, after what feels like a long time of being rushed around.
