I can’t imagine what it must be like to be the kind of psychopath that gloats about paying people poverty wages. That’s something to be embarrassed about, not proud of.
One benefit of these disgusting pieces of human shit feeling safe enough (protected by the system) to say this shit out loud is once we (metaphorically) feed them into woodchippers after the revolution, we can keep these admissions of human rights abuse to show future generations just how fucking inhuman and dangerous these people are. It really gives you a window into just how evil they are and the lengths they’ll go to for money and power.
What’s frustrating is that the Chinese model shows that being the recipient of outsourcing can be a stepping stone to long term economic development but it takes a ton of carefully considered government regulation and discipline to stop the local compradors and the foreign companies from running off with all the profits.
Solidarity with all workers of the global south who are being failed by their shitty ruling class.
This is the core of all pro-sweatshop “a rising tide raises all boats” arguments, that it’s good that we are exploiting the economic precarity of others as long as it slightly improves their lives. It’s impossible for them to think of societal improvement outside the mental cage of neoliberal economics.
