Psychotic transphobia aside, this person unironically said “culture war trauma”.
Being terminally online is always detrimental to one’s mental health, but nothing rots a human brain more reliably than transphobia.
It’s weird because there’s background radiation transphobia everywhere, you’d think it wouldn’t turn brains to soup like it does, but it’s the most potent way to make someone go absolutely insane from posting.
Residual transphobia rests on a lot of untested, false assumptions about “basic biology”. It works because people do not question things like “there’s a flawless, always immediately recognizable binary biological distinction between men and women - you can just look at somebody and instantly know what’s in their pants and therefore what their true gender is.” When you engage with the trans issue, you either realize that things aren’t even nearly as clear cut as that and start questioning at least some internalized transphobia - or you fly fully off the handle once you get to the point were you “clock” cis women all the time.
When i was questioning, i had a phase that was actually really similar to this - i constantly saw women that made me think “hey, she could be trans”. Unlike OP, i just knew she most likely wasn’t trans and that actually helped me accept myself, especially once i talked to other trans women who were convinced they did not pass at all, but in fact did pass really well as long as you don’t define passing as “looks like a 20 year old supermodel.”
But this guy here, he can’t make that step towards acceptance, as he’s already committed to the other side of the trans debate and can’t admit he was wrong on the internet.
The whole transphobic thing of clocking actresses (who are usually required by their profession to be as femininly beautiful as possible) as trans because of perceived masculine traits makes you realize just how much peoples perception of ‘what a woman looks like’ has been warped by advertising, media and the social pressure on women to meet impossible standards.
fellas, are all attractive women trans?
doing the what country is :flag-trans-pride: and why are all the girls from there so pretty bit but unironically and reactionary
Does this guy think only men have chins?
real women have chins like written words in a dream: okay out of the corner of your eye but fuzzy and constantly shifting if you examine closely
fuzzy
:wojak-nooo: “Impossible, real women have absolutely no hair besides upper head”
Is there a specific english word for the thin hair covering everything different from hair?
In spanish we have “cabello” for the thick hair in the upper head, “pelo” for the thick hair everywhere else (beard, chest, crotch, etc), and “vello” for the very thin hair covering the rest, usually absent in places of high friction.
Beautiful women are trans, more and more people are seeing it folks!
