also it’s very weird how Americans don’t consider the Spanish to be white people
It makes sense, darker than anglos often and speak the same language as people from south America, which is not white. Past that, perhaps more importantly, there were never that many people directly immigrated from Spain to America. The ones that did probably had money, so didn’t face much discrimination. When the time came for more euros to become white so black factory workers couldn’t unionize, they didn’t make you a large enough demographic that they made sense to prop up. It was easier to put the poor ones in the same conditions as black people, or Latin American people moving north

Ngl, I hope that RE 9 is about Leon’s presidential run after he marries Ashley, with the game ending when Umbrella successfully assassinates him after he’s elected.
Then RE 10 can be about how it’s her turn.
